APLIKASI PELACAKAN RUTE DAN HALTE ANGKUTAN TRANS KOETARADJA MENGGUNAKAN SELF POSITION GPS BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstrak

Transportasi angkutan umum adalah sarana untuk memindahkan orang dari suatu tempat ke tempat yang lain. Tujuannya membantu orang atau kelompok orang untuk menjangkau berbagai tempat yang dituju. Pengangkutan orang secara massal dengan kendaraan umum dilakukan dengan menggunakan mobil bus. Bus Trans Koetaradja merupakan program baru yang dikeluarkan oleh Dishubkomintel Kota Banda Aceh bertujuan untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Dengan adanya sarana angkutan umum yang tergolong baru ini muncul permasalahan bahwa sebagian besar pengguna Trans Koetardja belum mengetahui jalur dan halte yang dilalui oleh bus Trans Koetaradja, sehingga diperlukan pemetaan agar masyarakat umum yang ingin menggunakan sarana transportasi Trans Koetaradja dapat mengetahui jalur dan halte mana saja yang dilalui oleh bus Trans Koetaradja. Dari permasalahan tersebut penulis terinspirasi untuk membuat aplikasi Trans Koetaradja berbasis android. Aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemograman java dan memiliki fitur-fitur seperti koridor, list halte, maps, dan pencarian. Aplikasi ini bertujuan memudahkan pengguna untuk mengetahui suatu titik koridor ke koridor yang lain. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga terhubung dengan Google maps dan menggunakan GPS untuk mendeteksi lokasi pengguna dengan halte.
