Abstrak

Pemakaian sistem e-voting dalam pemilihan Geuchik merupakan salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan teknologi dibidang pemerintahan desa. Sistem ini digunakan pada sebuah metode pemilihan yang biasanya digunakan untuk menentukan hasil tertinggi, untuk saat ini pemilihan geuchik dengan menggunakan metode sistem E- voting belum banyak dilakukan di indonesia, dengan adanya sistem E-voting ini peneliti mencoba menerapkan pada kasus pemilihan geuchik. Implemetasi dari teknologi – teknologi baru yang bermunculan, yaitu dengan membuat sebuah sistem E-voting (Elektronic Voting)  dengan menggunakan Framework Codeigniter yang berbasis Web, dibuat untuk menggantikan sistem yang lama dimana sistem yang digunakan belum terkomputerisasi. Aplikasi E-voting berbasis web mampu menggantikan peran dari pemilihan yang masih menggunakan sistem secara konvensional yaitu pemilihan yang dilakukan secara manual, aplikasi E-voting ini memberikan kemudahan dalam hal penggunaan kepada pemakainya, dalam hal keamanan untuk pengguna aplikasi ini sudah dirancang dengan baik sehingga membuat para pengguna merasa aman dan nyaman.
