ANALISA DAN PERANCANGAN PUBLIC CLOUD STORAGE DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN FITUR FORWARDING NETWORK ADDRESS TRANSLATION MELALUI VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK SERVER MENGGUNAKAN MIKROTIK

Abstrak - Kantor Pos Lambaro sebagai kantor pelayanan yang telah menggunakan fasilitas komputer, maka tidak luput dari segala aktivitas menyimpan file yang disimpan melalui penyimpanan terpusat yaitu private cloud storage. Namun sayangnya, file yang tersimpan di private cloud storage tersebut hanya dapat diakses secara local dan tidak dapat diakses melalui jaringan internet, sehingga akan menyulitkan pegawai apabila ingin mengambil file namun pegawai yang bersangkutan tidak berada di area kantor. Karena permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukannya sebuah VPS Mikrotik yang sudah memiliki alamat protokol IP public static sehingga private cloud storage tersebut dapat diakses secara online melalui jaringan internet. Dalam perancangan public cloud storage ini, dibangun dengan menggunakan metode network address translation (NAT) yaitu sebuah mekanisme translasi IP address baik dari alamat IP sumber maupun tujuan, sehingga private cloud storage yang menjalankan layanan Nextcloud akan dapat diakses pada jaringan internet. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memudahkan pegawai dalam melakukan penyimpanan file untuk keperluan kantor yang dapat diakses baik melalui jaringan lokal maupun internet serta topologi yang dapat melakukan fungsi routing dengan kemampuan untuk melakukan pemilihan rute tujuan paket data sehingga layanan jaringan intranet dan jaringan internet dapat digunakan secara bersamaan oleh pihak kantor Pos Lambaro.
