PERANCANGAN MEDIA BELAJAR BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY PADA SDN 2 BLANGKEJEREN STUDI KASUS PROSES PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN ECENG GONDOK

Abstrak- SDN 2 Blangkejeren merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar negeri yang berlokasi di kabupaten Gayo Lues provinsi Aceh. Pada saat ini, sekolah memiliki keterbatasan dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran biologi terkait praktikum tanaman air enceng gondok. Permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu sulitnya mendapatkan tumbuhan eceng gondok. Hal ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan ketinggian dan topografi wilayah Blangkejeren dengan wilayah lain yang mempengaruhi kecepatan aliran udara sehingga tanaman enceng gondok lebih sulit berkembang. Hal ini berdampak kepada keterbatasan alat atau bahan peraga untuk pelajaran tanaman air khususnya tanaman eceng gondok sehingga penyampaian materi secara visual kepada peserta didik di SDN 2 Balngkejeren tidak maksimal. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan sistem pembelajaran proses pertumbuhan eceng gindok berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) pada SDN 2 Blangkejeren. Perancangan objek pada AR ini menggunakan Autodesk 3ds Max. Perancangan script dan animasi 3D menggunakan Unity. Selanjutnya untuk menjalakan objek AR pada perangkat mobile menggunakan Vuforia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran AR yang dirancang dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar pada SDN 2 Blangkejeren denan lebih mudah dan menyenangkan.

Abstract- SDN 2 Blangkejeren is a public elementary school located in Gayo Lues district, Aceh province. Currently, schools have limitations in the teaching and learning process in biology subjects related to water hyacinth plant practicum. The problem faced is the difficulty of getting water hyacinth plants. This is caused by the difference in altitude and topography of the Blangkejeren region with other regions which affects the speed of air flow so that it is more difficult for water hyacinth plants to grow. This has an impact on the limited tools or teaching materials for teaching aquatic plants, especially water hyacinth plants, so that the visual delivery of material to students at SDN 2 Balngkejeren is not optimal. Based on these problems, this research proposes designing a learning system for the growth process of water hyacinth based on Augmented Reality (AR) at SDN 2 Blangkejeren. Designing objects in AR uses Autodesk 3ds Max. 3D script and animation design using Unity. Next, to run AR objects on mobile devices using Vuforia. The results of the research show that the AR learning media designed can help make the teaching and learning process at SDN 2 Blangkejeren easier and more enjoyable.
