SISTEM UJIAN ONLINE TES MASUK UNIVERSITAS UBUDIYAH INDONESIA BAGI CALON MAHASISWA BARU BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN CI (CODE IGNITER)

Abstrak

Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia merupakasan salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang ada di Kota Banda Aceh yang saat ini memiliki 6 (enam) fakultas dan 16 (enam belas) jurusan dan sudah memiliki alumni sebanyak 3105 dari keseluruhan jurusan program studi. Setiap tahunnya UUI membuka penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Salah satu tes yang wajib diikuti oleh calon mahasiswa adalah test pengetahuan umum yang sekarang sampai dengan tahun 2019 masih dilakukan dengan cara tradisonal yaitu test dilakukan diselembaran kertas. Cara atau metode seperti ini tidak efisien dari segi biaya dan waktu. Guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah aplikasi ujian bersifat online sehingga mempermudah calon mahasiswa baru melaksanakan ujian dan membantu mempermudah petugas ujian dalam merekap dan menghasilkan hasil ujian. Teknologi yang digunakan pada aplikasi ini berbasis web dengan menggunakan codeigniter yang merupakan sebuah web application framework yang digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi PHP dinamis yang dibangun menggunakan konsep Model View Controller development pattern.. Informasi yang disajikan dari aplikai ini berupa rekapan test hasil test dan laporan.
