Abstrak

Banyaknya pendatang yang merantau ke banda aceh membuat mereka menyesuaikan diri dan berbaur dengan
masyarakat lainnya dalam bersosial. Disamping itu tuntutan memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga baik ekonomi maupun
pendidikan tidak terlepas dari tingkat kebutuhan anak mereka masing –masing. Pada aspek pendidikan dimana orang
tua belum tau rute, kualitas dan fasilitas sekolah anak mereka yang akan mereka titipkan untuk dididik, oleh karena itu
banyak orang tua yang sudah menitipkan anaknya disebuah sekolah kecewa dengan sekolah tersebut atau salah
mengambil keputusan atas pertimbangan kenapa sekolah tersebut dipilih, bahkan ada yang putus sekolah atau tidak
bersekolah lagi karena tidak mampu memenuhi biaya sekolah, atau pindah sekolah yang lebih dekat dengan rumah atau
tempat kerja orang tua, ini disebabkan tidak adanya informasi yang akurat kepada orang tua terkait dengan sekolah
tersebut. Berangkat dari permasalahan ini penulis ingin membuat suatu Sistem Informasi Geografis Berbasis Web
Untuk Pemetaan Lokasi PAUD dan TK di Kota Banda Aceh. Data yang bersumber dari Dinas Pendidikan dan
Kebudayaan Kota Banda Aceh bahwa pada tahun 2018 jumlah PAUD yang ada di lingkungan pemerintahan Kota
Banda Aceh adalah sebanyak 54 dan semuanya status swasta. Sedangkan TK yang berada dibawah naungan pemerintah
Kota Banda Aceh adalah sebanyak 96 TK yang terdiri dari 90 sekolah TK berada di bawah naungan swasta dan 6
sekolah TK berstatus Negeri, mulai dari TK 1 Negeri Kota Banda Aceh sampai TK 6 Negeri Kota Banda Aceh yang
berlokasi di Gampong Tibang, Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh. Sistem mampu memberikan informasi
tentang Pemetaan Lokasi PAUD dan TK di Kota Banda Aceh, hal ini terlihat dalam aplikasi yang ditampilakan melalui
SIG. Sistem dapat digunakan untuk melihat dari sebaran PAUD dan TK dengan catatan seluruh data terinput yang ada
di Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil yang disuguhkan oleh sistem dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk mengetahui lokasi
sebaran baik TK, PAUD, maupun TK dan PAUD.
