IMPLEMENTASI INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) PADA PENGENDALIAN PERANGKAT LISTRIK RUMAH TANGGA BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstrak— Mayoritas peralatan rumah tangga saat ini menggunakan teknologi berbasis listrik sebagai sumber energinya. Hal ini menyebabkan tingkat konsumsi listrik yang semakin banyak akibatnya biaya yang dikeluarkan juga semakin tinggi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut diperlukan sebuah sistem pengendalian penggunaan listrik untuk memonitoring penggunaan daya listrik harian. Penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan sistem pengendalian dan monitoring daya listrik secara jarak jauh menggunakan konsep internet of Things berbasis android. Penggunaan sistem ini menggunakan sensor daya listrik PZEM-004T, mikrokontroler ESP8266, relay dan aplikasi IoT Cloud berbasis Blynk. Berdasarkan pengujian didapatkan sistem yang dirancang dapat mendeteksi penggunaan daya listrik dari perangkat elektronik dan mengirimkan secara realtime ke perangkat smartphone Android dengan aplikasi Blynk secara jarak jauh. Dengan adanya sistem ini pengguna dapat memonitoring dan mengendalikan penggunaan daya listrik secara jarak jauh menggunakan konsep Internet of Things.

Abstract— Most household appliances today use electricity-based technology as their energy source. This causes the level of electricity consumption to increase as a result of which the costs incurred are also higher. Based on these problems, an electricity usage control system is needed to monitor daily electrical power usage. This research proposes designing a system for controlling and monitoring electrical power remotely using the Android-based internet of things concept. This system uses a PZEM-004T electrical power sensor, ESP8266 microcontroller, relay and Blynk-based IoT Cloud application. Based on tests obtained, the designed system can detect electrical power usage from electronic devices and send it in real time to Android smartphone devices with the Blynk application remotely. With this system, users can monitor and control electrical power usage remotely using the Internet of Things concept.
