Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dimensi sosial dari penerapan prinsip circular economy
melalui pemanfaatan ecobrick dan bambu dalam pembangunan bangunan sederhana di Desa Nusa,
Kecamatan Lhoknga. Fokus utama diarahkan pada pemahaman informasi, tingkat partisipasi
masyarakat, perubahan sikap, tingkat kepuasan, dan keberlanjutan pasca pelaksanaan proyek.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan informan kunci (tokoh
gampong, ketua lingkungan, ibu rumah tangga, dan pemuda), observasi lapangan, serta penelusuran
dokumen internal gampong. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap
proyek bervariasi tergantung saluran informasi yang digunakan. Tokoh gampong memiliki pemahaman
yang baik karena mendapat penjelasan langsung, sedangkan ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda umumnya
menerima informasi secara tidak langsung, menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman detail. Dalam hal
partisipasi, mayoritas warga berada pada tingkat manipulatif (41,7%) dan hanya sebagian kecil yang
terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan (16,7%). Meski demikian, terdapat perubahan positif dalam sikap
masyarakat: sebanyak 73,3% informan menunjukkan peningkatan rasa memiliki terhadap fasilitas
publik, dan 46,7% berpartisipasi secara sukarela dalam perawatan pasca proyek. Tingkat kepuasan
masyarakat terhadap hasil proyek juga tinggi, dengan 80% menyatakan kualitas pembangunan sesuai
harapan dan 66,7% menilai pelaksanaannya transparan. Aspek keberlanjutan menunjukkan potensi
penguatan dengan 33,3% warga mulai melakukan perawatan swadaya, meskipun pembentukan
kelompok pemelihara formal masih rendah (13,3%). Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya komunikasi
yang efektif dan pendekatan partisipatif sejak awal perencanaan agar penerapan prinsip circular
economy tidak hanya berdampak secara lingkungan, tetapi juga berkelanjutan secara sosial.
