SISTEM PENCARIAN PERSEDIAAN BUKU ONLINE DI TOKO BUKU YANG ADA DI BANDA ACEH BERBASIS WEB DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK CODEIGNITER

Abstract

Abstrak — Toko buku di Banda Aceh saat ini berjumlah 20 toko buku yang tersebar di berbagai kecamatan yang menjual berbagai macam jenis buku, baik buku anak, bisnis, teknologi dan lain sebagainya. Adapun strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh sebuah Toko Buku yang ada di Banda Aceh sekarang ini dirasa kurang efektif dan efisien, Karena baik pemasaran maupun pemesanan produknya hanya dilakukan secara konvensional. Pembeli buku harus mendatangi toko buku terlebih dahulu, pada saat mendatangi toko buku yang di tuju, buku yang dicari tidak tersedia sehingga harus mencari ke toko buku lain. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menampilkan informasi penjualanan, ketersedia buku dan harga buku yaitu dengan cara membuat sistem informasi toko buku dan penjualan buku pada seluruh toko buku yang ada di kota Banda Aceh. Dengan adanya aplikasi penjualanan yang mengkoleksi seluruh toko buku dan buku yang tersedia, akan memudahkan bagi pencari buku untuk memperoleh dan mengetahui ketersediaanya di seluruh toko buku yang ada. Aplikasi ini juga memberikan informasi mengenai harga, jumlah buku, fitur pencarian, dan ketersediaan. Aplikasi ini dikelola oleh admin dari masing-masing toko dan dapat melakukan input data buku dan harga serta ketersediaan jumlah buku. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif sehingga aplikasi yang dihasilkan dapat bermanfaat bagi user/pengguna. Dari hasil pengujian aplikasi pencarian buku secara online ini sangat membantu baik dari toko buku yang terdaftar maupun dari pencari buku atau calon pembeli buku.
