PENERAPAN METODE K – MEANS CLUSTERING TERHADAP ALUMNI BERDASARKAN KUESIONER TRACER STUDY

Abstrak— Tracer study merupakan salah satu kebutuhan perguruan tinggi berguna untuk mengetahui alumni suatu perguruan tinggi yang dapat berpartisipasi di dalam dunia kerja yang sesuai  dengan relevansi pendidikan merupakan makna dari tracer study. Penelitian ini dibangun menggunakan semua kuiesioner menggunakan standar perguruan tinggi akan tetapi untuk pengelompokkan data menggunakan Metode K - means Clustering .berfokus pada kuisioner kompetensi bidang. Metode K Means Clustering merupakan pengelompokkan data kedalam satu atau lebih, oleh karena itu data yang memiliki kategori yang serupa akan dikelompokkan dalam satu cluster yang sama dan data yang mempunyai kategori berbeda akan dikelompokkan ke dalam cluster yang lain. Metode ini untuk pengelompokkan data alumni dari hasil kuesioner online berdasarkan tingkat pengetahuan alumni. Terdapat 3 kelompok penilaian sebagai berikut : Sangat Kurang, Baik, dan Sangat Baik. Sistem tracer Study yang dibangun ini berdasarkan hasil pengujian sudah dapat digunakan dengan baik.
