Abstract

Abstrak— PT. PLN (Persero) merupakan salah satu perusahaan milik negara (BUMN) yang bergerak di bidang kelistrikan negara. Selama ini permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah untuk mengetahui tagihan rekening pemakaian listrik dan jika ada pengaduan pelanggan harus datang langsung ke kantor PLN, antrian yang terjadi, jarak yang jauh atau biaya telepon menjadi kendala utamanya. Salah satu fasilitas dari telepon seluler yang banyak dipakai saat ini adalah Short Message Service yang disingkat SMS. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SMS Gateway berbasis WEB dengan penerapan preprocessing yang membantu PLN dalam penyampaian informasi dan pelayanan kepada pelanggan. Sistem informasi dengan penerapan preprocessing yang diharapkan mampu memberikan informasi bagi pelanggan PLN Rayon Krueng Geukuh berupa pesan singkat mengenai informasi tagihan listrik, syarat penyambungan baru, daya yang tersedia, balik nama meteran, permintaan multiguna, perubahan nama, permintaan pemutusan sementara, permintaan penyambungan kembali, pengambilan restitusi dan informasi gangguan listrik melalui media SMS dengan input berupa text format dan free text yang berbasis SMS autoreply yang bisa melakukan reply SMS secara otomatis. Adapun hasil penelitian mengenai informasi tagihan listrik dan pengaduan pelanggan menggunakan SMS Gateway berbasis WEB dengan penerapan preprocessing dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada pelanggan PLN dalam hal pengaduan masalah listrik dan informasi tagihan listrik sebelum tanggal jatuh tempo.

PT. PLN (Persero) is one of the state-owned companies (SOEs) which is engaged in the field of state electricity. So far, the problem faced is to find out the electricity bill and if there is a complaint the customer must come directly to the PLN office or by telephone, the queues that occur, long distances become the main obstacle. One of the facilities widely used today is the Short Message Service, abbreviated as SMS. In this study using the application of preprocessing that helps PLN in delivering information and services to customers. Information system with the application to provide information for PLN Rayon Krueng Geukuh customers regarding information on electricity bills, new connection requirements, available power, reverse meter names, multipurpose requests, name changes, temporary termination requests, reconnection requests, taking restitution and information on electrical disturbances through SMS media with input in the form of text format and free text based on SMS autoreply that can do SMS replies automatically. The results of research on information on electricity bills and customer complaints using WEB-based SMS Gateway with the application of preprocessing can provide convenience to PLN customers in terms of complaints of electricity problems.
