APLIKASI SISTEM INFORMASI PENGOLAHAN DATA KASUS LAKALANTAS BERBASIS WEB PADA SATLANTAS POLRES SABANG

Kepolisian Resort atau Polres merupakan suatu Instansi Pemerintahan yang bertugas untuk melayani, mengayomi
serta melindungi masyarakat. Polres Sabang memiliki tugas dan kewajiban untuk menjaga stabilitas keamanan di
wilayah Kotamadya Sabang. Di Polres Sabang juga terdapat bagian satlantas yang bertugas menjaga keamanan
lalulintas di Kotamadya Sabang. Dikarenakan angka kecelakaan lalulintas di Kotamadya Sabang semakin
meningkat, maka bagian Satlantas Polres Sabang memerlukan suatu aplikasi sistem informasi yang terkomputerisasi
yang bisa digunakan untuk pengolahan data kasus lakalantas yang terjadi di wilayah kerjanya. Selama ini
pengolahan data yang berhubungan dengan kasus lakalantas masih menggunakan cara manual, yaitu data masih
dalam bentuk laporan yang berbentuk file dan dokumentasi yang tersimpan dalam arsip. Untuk mengatasi
permasalahan tersebut, maka di Polres Sabang dibangun suatu aplikasi sistem informasi pengolahan data kasus
lakalantas yang dibuat dalam bentuk database berbasis web. Aplikasi dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa
pemrograman PHP dengan MySQL sebagai variabel databasenya. Perancangan sistem ini dibuat sesuai dengan
Flowchart, Use Case dan ERD (Entity Relation Diagram. Dengan adanya aplikasi sistem informasi ini nantinya
diharapkan akan dapat mempermudah dalam mengakses semua informasi yang berhubungan dengan data kasus
lakalantas yang terjadi di wilayah Kotamadya Sabang.
