Abstract

Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) merupakan salah satu lembaga penyiaran
nasional di Indonesia. Saat ini telah memiliki karyawan yang semakin
bertambah seiring dengan berkembangnya TVRI. Salah satu hal yang sangat
diperhatikan dengan bertambahnya karyawan adalah pengelolaan di sektor
penggajian. Untuk memudahkan dalam pengelolaan penggajian, laporan dan
slip gaji karyawan dibutuhkan sistem informasi penggajian karyawan yang
dapat membantu dalam pengolahan data penggajian menggunakan perhitungan
Pajak Penghasilan Pasal 21 (PPh Pasal 21). Berdasarkan permasalahan
tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian untuk memperoleh kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang
diperlukan untuk membangun sistem informasi penggajian karyawan. Metode 

pembuatan perangkat lunak dalam pembangunan sistem informasi penggajian
karyawan menggunakan metode extreme programming, dimulai dari system
engineering, analisis masalah, design, coding dan testing. Pembangunan sistem
penggajian ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database
MySQL dengan menggunakan konsep MVC (Model, View, Controller) pada
framework Codeigniter. Sedangkan untuk design sistem yang akan dibangun
menggunakan Unified Modelling Language) (UML). Dalam tugas akhir ini
dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi penggajian karyawan yang
dibangun menggunakan perhitungan PPh Pasal 21 dapat membantu dalam
pengelolaan data penggajian dan dapat menampilkan informasi yang dibutuhkan
oleh karyawan PT Mitra Respect Indonesia. Karyawan PT. Mitra Respect
Indonesia dapat melihat informasi penggajian melalui halaman website yang
disediakan. Kemudian karyawan dapat melihat hasil dari perhitungan PPh Pasal 21
di slip gaji.
