ANALISIS QUALITY OF SERVICE PADA JARINGAN INTERNET TERMINAL BATOH BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Terminal Batoh Banda Aceh merupakan salah satu dari lima terminal tipe A yang ada di Propinsi Aceh dan juga terminal terpadat dan tersibuk di Propinsi Aceh, sebagai bentuk pelayanan, koneksi internet yang memadai merupakan salah satu bentuk pelayanan yang wajib diberikan kepada pengguna jasa terminal, akses informasi yang cepat bagi pengunjung, calon penumpang serta pihak loket memudahkan mengetahui jadwal keberangkatan dan kedatangan, memesan tiket bus, mengecek armada yang laik jalan, serta memberikan penilaian terhadap pelayanan seperti keluhan, kritik, atau saran. Namun, masalah kualitas jaringan seperti kecepatan akses rendah, sering gangguan, keamanan Jaringan, dan ketidakcocokan dengan perangkat dan aplikasi menjadi masalah selama ini, Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilakukan analisis Quality of Service (QoS) pada jaringan internet Terminal Batoh, Tujuan analisis ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kualitas jaringan yang ada dan mengidentifikasi potensi masalah yang dapat mempengaruhi pelayanan. Dalam penelitian ini, pengukuran QoS menggunakan aplikasi wireshark dengan menganalisa empat parameter utama yaitu delay, Packet Loss, jitter, dan throughput. Hasil dari analisis QoS ini akan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas jaringan internet.

Batoh bus station of Banda Aceh is one of the five type A terminals in Aceh Province and also the busiest and busiest terminal in Aceh Province, as a form of service, an adequate internet connection is one form of service that must be provided to terminal service users, fast access to information for visitors, prospective passengers and counters makes it easy to find out departure and arrival schedules, order bus tickets, check the roadworthy fleet, and provide an assessment of services such as complaints, criticisms, or suggestions. However, network quality issues such as low access speed, frequent interruptions, Network security, and incompatibility with devices and applications have been a problem so far, To overcome this problem, a Quality of Service (QoS) analysis was conducted on the Batoh Terminal internet network, The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate the quality of the existing network and identify potential problems that could affect service. In this research, QoS measurements use the Wireshark application by analyzing four main parameters, namely delay, Packet Loss, jitter, and throughput. The results of this QoS analysis will provide recommendations for improving the quality of the internet network.
