Abstrak— Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah sebagai institusi pelayanan publik yang padat modal dan padat karya dituntut untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik dan profesional yang didukung oleh sistem perencanaan dan pengelolaan rumah sakit yang efektif dan efisien. Untuk mewujudkan kinerja pelayanan yang baik, diperlukan sumber daya manusia yang handal, unggul, dan kompeten sesuai dengan kualifikasi dan standar mutu rumah sakit. Untuk mengelola sumber daya manusia yang sangat beragam di rumah sakit, diperlukan teknologi informasi agar pengembangan sumber daya manusia dapat berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, membangun dan mengimplementasikan guna meningkatkan efesiensi pengelolaan data karyawan dan mendukung operasional bidang kepegawaian. Metode yang digunakan dalam membangun sistem informasi karyawan dengan menggunakan Waterfall model yang mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem Informasi Karyawan RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin (SIKARZA) ini berbasis web, hanya dapat diakses melalui jaringan lokal dan diuji menggunakan metode black-box testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitas. Sistem Informasi Karyawan RSUDZA (SIKARZA) berhasil dirancang dan diimplementasikan. SIKARZA mampu mengelola data karyawan secara terintegrasi, mengurangi risiko kesalahan dan kehilangan dokumen, serta mempercepat proses administrasi. Sistem ini memberikan kemudahan akses bagi bidang kepegawaian dan karyawan itu sendiri agar dapat mendukung operasional rumah sakit secara efektif dan efisien.
