SISTEM INFORMASI PENDATAAN SANITASI WARGA MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (SIG) BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA DINAS PUPR KOTA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kota Banda Aceh merupakan instansi yang berlokasi di Jalan Prof. Ali Hasymi, Gp. Pango Raya, Kota Banda Aceh. Kepala Dinas PUPR Kota Banda Aceh. Dalam melakukan pemeberdayaan, selama ini diketahui pihak Dinas PUPR Kota Banda Aceh melakukan pendataan kepada masyarakat dari setiap kecamatan yang ada di Banda Aceh untuk mendata warga yang layak mendapatkan pemberdayaan sanitasi. Pendataan masih dilakukan dengan menggunakan form yang diisi oleh petugas-petugas berupa kertas untuk mengisi data warga tersebut, kemudian data tersebut akan di kumpulkan kembali dan dijadikan sebagai laporan oleh Dinas PUPR Kota Banda Aceh. Namun, menggunakan form berupa kertas sebagai alat untuk mendata masih kurang optimal dikarenakan banyaknya data yang akan diisi oleh petugas lapangan termasuk letak koordinat dari lokasi rumah warga tersebut yang harus di foto terlebih dahulu menggunakan time photo agar mendapatkan titik koordinatnya kemudian data koordinat tersebut akan di catat di form pendataan. Setelah petugas melakukan pendataan, form tersebut akan diserahkan kepada pihak dinas untuk dipindahkan kedalam format spreadsheet sebagai bahan laporan. Seperti pada Kecamatan Jaya Baru, terdapat 235 jumlah kepala keluarga yang di data oleh 2 petugas lapangan, sehingga ketika pihak dinas akan melakukan pemindahan data maka akan terjadi perulangan penginputan data yang mengakibatkan proses tersebut menjadi tidak efesien. Berdasarkan pemaparan diatas peneliti mencoba untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi pendataan sanitasi warga menggunakan Geographic Information System (GIS) berbasis website, yang dapat diakses dimana saja. Sistem ini tetap mengikuti form untuk mengisi data yang telah disediakan sebelumnya, dan terdapat maping lokasi yang mempermudah pihak lapangan untuk menentukan koordinat dari setiap rumah warga.
