INTERAKSI MANUSIA DAN KOMPUTER PADA ANTARMUKA UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) DALAM MENJAMIN KONTINUITAS KERJA DAN KEAMANAN DATA

Keandalan sistem komputer tidak hanya ditentukan oleh perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, tetapi juga oleh kestabilan sumber daya listrik. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) berfungsi sebagai periferal penting yang memastikan kontinuitas daya ketika terjadi pemadaman listrik. Dalam konteks ini, Interaksi Manusia dan Komputer (IMK) memiliki peran penting dalam perancangan antarmuka UPS sehingga pengguna dapat merespons situasi darurat daya secara tepat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek-aspek IMK pada antarmuka UPS, yang meliputi prinsip visibility of system status, kemudahan dalam memahami alarm (auditori), dan pencegahan kesalahan (error prevention) data di laboratorium komputer sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur terhadap penelitian terdahulu dan pengamatan terhadap interaksi pengguna saat terjadi gangguan listrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antarmuka UPS yang mudah dipahami, dilengkapi dengan indikator LED/LCD yang jelas serta alarm yang informatif, secara signifikan meningkatkan kesiapan pengguna dalam melakukan prosedur penyelamatan data (safe shutdown). Penerapan prinsip IMK pada perangkat periferal daya menjadi faktor penentu dalam menjaga keamanan data dan memperpanjang usia teknis perangkat keras di lingkungan pendidikan.References
