KEJAHATAN GENOSIDA DALAM KASUS ROHINGYA MYANMAR DALAM PERSPEKTIF HUKUM INTERNASIONAL
Abstract
Perlakuan diskriminasi selama ini dialami oleh etnis minoritas Rohingya di Myanmar akibat kebijakan dan tindakan dari Pemerintah Myanmar. Berangkat dari latar belakang tersebut, penulis bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaturan terhadap perlakuan diskriminatif terhadap suatu etnik tertentu dalam hukum internasional. Secara lebih spesifik, tulisan ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk sanksi hukum internasional kepada Myanmar atas perlakuan diskriminatif tersebut. dan mengetahui dan menganalisa upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam menyelesaikan kasus pelanggaran HAM berat yaitu genosida terhadap etnis rohingya di Myanmar berdasarkan hukum internasional. Tindakan salah secara internasional maka negara Myanmar telah melanggar kewajiban internasional dalam melindungi kepentingan masyarakat internasional dimana dalam hal tersebut tedapatnya pelanggaran berat atas kewajiban internasional dalam memelihara perdamaian dan keamanan internasional. Sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban atas terjadinya pelanggaran HAM maka negara mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk menyelesaikan kasus yang terjadi di negaranyaÂ

Discriminatory treatment has suffered minority ethnic of Rohingya in Myanmar caused by the policy and action of Burmese government. This background inspires the author to identify the relevant international laws applied to discriminatory treatment against a particular ethnic. More specifically, this article is also aimed to analyze the form of international law sanction to be imposed on Myanmar for the discriminatory treatmentin concern. And find out and analyse the efforts that can be made in resolving the cases of severe Human rights violations against is genocida the ethnic rohingya in Myanmar based on international law. That Myanmar government has commited international wrongfull act by neglecting its international obligations in protecting international community’s interest toward international peace and security.

Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication
The publication of an article in JLGS is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific methods. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the editor, the reviewer, the publisher, and the society. As the publisher of JLGS takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing seriously and it recognizes its ethical and other responsibilities. JLGS committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.
Publication Decisions
The editors of JLGS are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The editors may be guided by the policies of JLGS editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
