PROMOSI KESEHATAN MELALUI MEDIA MASSA UB ONTV DENGAN TEMA “CEGAH INFEKSI MENULAR SEKSUAL DENGAN SAY NO TO FREE SEKSâ€

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are infectious infectious diseases that occur due to transmission of viruses, bacteria and fungi through sexual intercourse by non-husband and wife partners. This disease can be transmitted through oral and anal intercourse, both same-sex and opposite-sex. Currently, STIs are increasingly spreading in society, especially among teenagers. Most of the teens have engaged in promiscuity that ensnares them into sexually transmitted infections. Promiscuity itself means establishing friendships between the opposite sex freely without complying with religious norms and rules. Promiscuity is an act that deviates and crosses boundaries, because promiscuity is the entrance to free sex behavior in adolescents which causes most teenagers to suffer from STIs. Free sex behavior itself is sexual behavior that is carried out because of the encouragement of sexual desire and lust both of the same sex and the opposite sex which is carried out on couples who do not have a legal marriage bond. The forms of this behavior can vary starting from the lowest level such as kissing, hugging to the highest level of having relationships like husband and wife. Free sex behavior in addition to having a psychological impact on adolescents, it also has a very dangerous physical impact on adolescent health, namely STDs. The types of STIs that can be transmitted through free sex include gonorrhea, syphilis, candidoma acuminata, chlamydia, genital warts, fungal infections (candida), herpes simplex, hepatitis B and even more dangerous, namely HIV-AIDS. Efforts are being made to prevent Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) from occurring, the only way that can be done is not to engage in free sex. But the challenge now is whether we are able to avoid ourselves so as not to fall into free sex behavior. One way that can be done so that the nation's generation can avoid free sex behavior is to provide education and health counseling about the dangers of free sex. For this reason, it is necessary to promote health to the community, especially adolescents so that they can prevent STIs by not engaging in sexual behavior freely and avoiding promiscuity in adolescents.
