PERBANDINGAN PERILAKU PETUGAS KESEHATAN DALAM PENANGANAN LIMBAH MEDIS DI PUSKESMAS KUTA ALAM DAN PUSKESMAS JEULINGKE KOTA BANDA ACEH TAHUN 2022
Abstract
Pemilahan dan pewadahan limbah merupakan inti dari pengelolaan limbah dan harus dilakukan pada sumber penghasil limbah. Pengetahuan tenaga layanan kesehatan yang benar, sikap positif dan praktik yang aman terhadap kegiatan pemilahan dan pewadahan merupakan hal terpenting karena mereka memiliki risiko paling tinggi terhadap limbah medis yang dihasilkan dari pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan perilaku petugas kesehatan dalam penanganan limbah medis di Puskesmas Kuta Alam dan Puskesmas Jeulingke Kota Banda Aceh Tahun 2022. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif yang sifatnya deskriptif, sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling sebanyak 10 petugas kesehatan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus Tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa dalam pengurangan limbah medis kedua puskesmas melakukan pemilahan limbah medis, pengangkutan internal limbah medis dilakukan oleh petugas cleaning service, dalam penyimpanan sementara kedua puskesmas sama-sama menggunakan safety box yang ditutup dengan rapat namun dalam hal pengelolaan limbah medis puskesmas Kuta Alam tidak terdapat saluran limbah khusus untuk pembuang limbah medis cair sedangkan puskesmas Jeulingke memiliki saluran pembuangan khusus limbah medis cair. Disarankan bagi Puskesmas dapat mengadvokasi kepada petugas pengelola limbah medis padat Puskesmas melalui kegiatan pendidikan dan latihan dalam mengelola limbah medis Puskesmas.

Segregation and storage of waste is the essence of waste management and must be carried out at the source of the waste. The correct knowledge of health care workers, positive attitudes and safe practices towards sorting and container activities is of paramount importance because they have the highest risk of medical waste generated from their work. This study aims to compare the behavior of health workers in handling medical waste at the Kuta Alam Health Center and Jeulingke Health Center, Banda Aceh City in 2022. The research design used was qualitative research which was descriptive in nature, the sample used a total sampling technique of 10 health workers using in-depth interview techniques . This research was conducted in August 2022. The results of the study explained that in reducing medical waste the two puskesmas carried out medical waste segregation, the internal transportation of medical waste was carried out by cleaning service officers, in temporary storage the two puskesmas both used safety boxes which were closed tightly but In terms of medical waste management, the Kuta Alam Health Center does not have a special waste channel for liquid medical waste disposal, while the Jeulingke Health Center has a special liquid medical waste disposal channel. It is recommended that Puskesmas can advocate for Puskesmas solid medical waste management officers through education and training activities in managing Puskesmas medical waste.

I. ORIGINALITY, AUTHORSHIP, AND COPYRIGHT

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION

IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
