Research conducted by Basic Health Research in 2013 showed that the prevalence of obesity in adolescents, namely ages 16-18, was 1.6% and in 2018 it increased to 4%. Indonesia even ranks second after Singapore with 12% of teenagers experiencing obesity. This obesity occurs due to an energy imbalance between the calories consumed and the calories used by the body. This imbalance can occur due to increased intake of energy foods with high fat content and decreased physical activity. The reduction in physical activity carried out is also directly proportional to the increasingly advanced technology considering that nowadays teenage children prioritize screen time by watching TV or playing games with gadgets, thus increasing their food consumption patterns compared to their physical activity6. The counseling was carried out with the topic "Health Education on How to Overcome Obesity in Adolescents at Babul Magfirah High School in Lam Alu Cut, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. This community service activity took place at SMAS Babul Magfirah in Lam Alu Cut, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. With 40 female students. Peak time is 1 day on 05 September 2023.
