Protein deficiency causes growth retardation and bone maturity because protein is an essential nutrient for growth. Even though energy intake is sufficient, if protein intake is insufficient it will inhibit growth in toddlers, then if there is a lack of iron it can cause problems with the immune system (Damayanti et al., 2016). Stunting is a description of chronic malnutrition during growth and development from early life. Many factors can cause stunting in toddlers, such as toddler characteristics and socio-economic factors. This observational research was conducted in Simpur, Ketambe District, Southeast Aceh Regency. Due to the village residents' lack of knowledge about stunting, Universitar Nurul Hasanah and its students collaborated with the Sumberlesung Village government to re-engage residents in stunting prevention outreach activities. This activity contains advice on preventing and handling stunting appropriately. Then there is the impact of inequality that occurs if you do not implement a healthy and clean lifestyle which can cause stunting in children. Apart from that, UNH Kutacane students also demonstrated to village residents, especially mothers, in providing appropriate, cheap and easy to obtain complementary breast milk food from the surrounding nature. From this activity, the results and targets that UNH students want to achieve are citizens who have high enthusiasm so that this outreach activity runs smoothly. Village residents no longer feel strange and know about how to prevent stunting. As well as, providing appropriate complementary foods for breast milk.
