Anemia is a major health problem that occurs in society and is often found throughout the world, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Anemia is a cause of chronic disability which has a major impact on health, economic and social welfare conditions. Cases of anemia often occur in adolescent girls compared to adolescent boys. This happens because young women lose iron (Fe) during menstruation so they need more iron (Fe) intake. The behavior of young women who consume more plant-based foods results in iron intake that is not sufficient for daily iron needs (Triwinarni, Hartini, & Susilo, 2017). The aim of carrying out this service is to provide wider knowledge and understanding to students about anemia and the importance of preventing anemia in rheumats. The service was carried out by means of direct health promotion to the students of SMAN 1 Baitussalam on November 16th 2023. The number of students who took part in this activity was 25 students. The results of the activities show that students understand anemia and the importance of preventing anemia. The conclusion from the implementation of this service was that students seemed enthusiastic about listening to the health promotion that was delivered, and they stated that they wanted to consume foods that are sources of iron to prevent anemia as stated by the speaker, this shows that the health promotion provided can increase knowledge. students and change student behavior for the better.
