Disease prevention in women is a vital aspect of public health that often receives insufficient attention. Women face unique health challenges, ranging from reproductive issues to the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Biological and hormonal changes throughout the life cycle, from adolescence to pregnancy to menopause, make women more vulnerable to a number of diseases. In Indonesian society, awareness of the importance of preventive health for women is still low, which can impact quality of life and long-term health. For example, delays in routine check-ups, such as pap smears and mammography, can lead to early detection of diseases such as cervical and breast cancer being missed, which reduces the chances of recovery. Effective prevention strategies should include education on reproductive health, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and better access to health services. Involving women in prevention programs and providing them with the right information about their health is critical to improving quality of life and preventing disease. By taking a holistic approach and focusing on women's specific needs, it is hoped to create a supportive environment for women's health and well-being, and increase awareness of the importance of disease prevention. The purpose of this counseling is to increase public knowledge and awareness, especially women, about disease prevention to keep the whole family healthy. The implementation of this counseling activity was carried out on September 15, 2024 at Meunasah Gampong Ie Masen Ulee Kareng which was attended by women aged 20-50 years. This health education activity involves the active role of undergraduate midwifery students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ubudiyah University of Indonesia and students and lecturers from University College MAIWP International Malaysia.
