PEMBERDAYAAN KELUARGA PADA PEMANFAATAN BUAH BERSERAT SEBAGAI SELF CLEANSING GIGI DAN MULUT MELALUI HOME VISIT DALAM MENURUNKAN SKOR DEBRIS PADA MASYARAKAT MEUNASAH BARO ACEH BESAR
Abstract
Home visit merupakan sebuah program yang berorientasi pada kunjungan rumah  dalam memberikan edukasi pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi pada pemanfaatan buah berserat sebagai self cleansing gigi dengan strategi adalah pendekatan dan dukungan keluarga. Melihat hasil pemeriksaan pada data awal 75% anak di desa Meunasah Baro mengalami karies gigi dan rata-rata nilai debris indek dengan kategori buruk dengan skor 2,5. Data tersebut masih jauh dari harapan karena tidak sesuai dengan ketetapan WHO bahwa status kebersihan gigi dan mulut  skor (OHI-S) < 1,2. Debris adalah salah satu penyebab utama pembentukan karang gigi dan gigi berlubang. Usaha promotif dan preventif sangat perlu diberikan kepada masyarakat. menurunkan angka debris indeks sebagai status kebersihan gigi, meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga tentang pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut, meningkatkan keterampilan keluarga dalam menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar, meningkatkan kesadaran keluarga pada pemanfaatan buah berserat sebagai self cleansing gigi. Metode Pengabdian dilakukan kegiatan home visit dilakukan 3 kali kunjungan. Memberikan edukasi kesehatan gigi tentang pemanfaatan buah berserat sebagai self cleansing gigi dan cara pengunyah yang benar. Menjelaskan dan mendemontrasikan teknik menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar. nilai. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi penurunan nilai Debris Indek dari kriteria buruk 31 orang (51%) menjadi kategori baik yaitu 52 orang (87%). Peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku orang tua dan anak mengenai pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dengan membiasakan mengkonsumsi buah dengan mengunyah buah yang baik dan benar sehingga dapat membantu self cleansing gigi pada masyarakat desa Meunasah Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar.

Home visit is a program that is oriented towards home visits in providing dental health maintenance education on the use of fibrous fruit as self-cleansing teeth with a strategy of family approach and support. Looking at the results of the examination of the initial data, 75% of children in Meunasah Baro village experienced dental caries and an average debris index value in the poor category with a score of 2.5. The data is still far from expectations because it does not comply with WHO's provisions that the dental and oral hygiene status score (OHI-S) <1.2. Debris is one of the main causes of tartar formation and cavities. Promotive and preventive efforts are very necessary to be given to the community. reducing the number of debris indexes as dental hygiene status, increasing family knowledge about dental and oral health maintenance, increasing family skills in brushing teeth properly, increasing family awareness of the use of fibrous fruit as self-cleansing teeth. The Community Service Method is carried out by home visit activities carried out 3 times. Providing dental health education about the use of fibrous fruit as self-cleansing teeth and the correct way to chew. Explaining and demonstrating good and correct tooth brushing techniques. value. The results of community service obtained results that there was a decrease in the Debris Index value from the bad criteria of 31 people (51%) to the good category of 52 people (87%). Increasing the knowledge and behavior of parents and children regarding the maintenance of dental and oral hygiene by getting used to consuming fruit by chewing fruit properly and correctly so that it can help self-cleansing teeth in the Meunasah Baro village community, Aceh Besar Regency.

I. ORIGINALITY, AUTHORSHIP, AND COPYRIGHT
The manuscripts submitted for publication must be research works written in English that have not been previously published and  are not being considered for publication elsewhere. II. PERMISSION
The author is responsible for acquiring the permission(s) to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text that are being used in the submitted paper. III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
