Abstract The use of herbal medicines is increasing in the community because they are considered more natural and have fewer side effects. However, public awareness of the potential interactions between modern (chemical) drugs and herbal medicines remains low, which can lead to a risk of reduced therapeutic effectiveness or increased toxic effects. This community service activity aims to increase public literacy about drug-herbal interactions through "Obatku Aman" in Rumpet Village. The methods used include interactive outreach, audiovisual-based counseling, and simulations of frequently encountered drug-herbal interactions. This activity will be carried out in September 2025. The target group is productive-age and elderly people who are currently or potentially using drugs and herbal medicines simultaneously. Evaluation will be conducted by comparing pre-test and post-test results regarding understanding of drug-herbal interactions. The results of the activity show a significant increase in the level of community knowledge, from an average of 50% before the counseling to 85% after the implementation. In addition, participants showed a change in attitude in consulting with health professionals before using drugs or herbal medicines simultaneously. This activity is expected to become a model for ongoing education to increase awareness and safety of drug use at the village level.
