HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KEPARAHAN DIABETES MELLITUS DENGAN TINGKAT DEMENSIA MENGGUNAKAN INSTRUMEN (6-CIT) DI RSUD “Xâ€

Tingkat kejadian demensia di Indonesia saat ini sangat tinggi, diduga salah satu penyebabnya adalah diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar gula darah dan terjadi resistensi insulin yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan fungsi kognitif pada demensia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menskrining demensia dan mengetahui hubungan tingkat keparahan diabetes mellitus terhadap tingkat demensia dan mengurangi resiko kejadian demensia. Metode Penelitian menggunakan metode cross-sectional dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan data diambil melalui wawancara dengan pengisian kuisoner 6CIT. Hasil penelitian ini jumlah pasien diabetes mellitus terbanyak berdasarkan kelompok umur terbanyak dengan demensia umur 46-56 tahun (10.53%), umur 56-65 tahun (8.77%), >65 tahun (3.51%). Sedangkan berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan dan laki-laki pada demensia ringan tidak terjadi perbedaan signifikan dengan nilai (14.04%) tetapi jenis kelamin perempuan pada demensia berat terdeteksi 1 orang dengan nilai (1.75%). Pada tingkat pendidikan data terbanyak demensia SMP lebih banyak (8.77%) , SMA (7.02%),S1 (7.02%), D3 (2.86%), SD (1.75%). kesimpulan penelitian ini tidak didapatkan hubungan antara tingkat keparahan diabetes mellitus dan tingkat demensia dengan nilai p-value 0,344 dengan uji pearson chi-square dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara penyakit dan tingkat demensia dengan p-value 0,318 (p <0,05). Validitas skrining 6CIT tidak dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan. Analisis faktor-faktor yang dapat berdampak pada validitas skrining 6CIT adalah jenis kelamin, usia dan durasi pertanyaan.

II. PERMISSION

III. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND REVISION
All papers will be critically read by at least two anonymous reviewers, selected for their competence in the subject area of the paper. Acceptance of the paper will depend upon its scientific merit and suitability for the journal. A paper may be accepted in its original form or subject to revision.
The reviewers' (and editor's) suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of eight weeks.
The accepted paper will be edited by native English speakers. The cost of language editing service is currently free.
IV. PROOFS
Galley proofs (PDF format) for an accepted article will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author for copyediting corrections. The core content of an article cannot be changed at this time. It is the author's responsibility to check the entire manuscript, including tables, figure legends, and cited reference numbers, not just the items queried. The proofs should be corrected and mailed to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt in order to expedite publication. Only one set of corrections will be accepted. In other words, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent to us in one communication.
V. Â REPRINTS
Five free reprint copies of the published article will be shipped to the corresponding authors in Indonesia only, approximately two weeks after the issue is printed. Authors, including overseas authors, who wish to purchase reprints, are required to complete the Reprint Order Form, which will be sent with the galley proofs to corresponding authors. This form must be returned together with the corrected galley proofs.
